Pointilator for Para Athletics uses the official 2025 World Para Athletics Gompertz function: Points = a × exp(-exp(b - performance/c)) where a = 1200.
Youth Scoring: For youth events, multipliers are applied to the c parameter: 1.16× for track events and 0.88× for field events, adjusting for the performance difference between top performers at major international competitions and average performances expected at youth events. The formula becomes: Points = a × exp(-exp(b - performance/(1.2×c)))
The calculator supports all track and field events across all sport classes with both senior and youth scoring parameters.
Voice Input: Supports athletics lingo for hands-free data entry. For track events, say "1 0 3 2 5" for 1:03.25 (time format with colon). For field events, say "1 o 3 point 25" for 103.25 meters (distance format).
